i came home on an airplane at night time, and when we were flying up, you could see the millions of twinkling lights of houses and buildings and just everything. as we got higher up it became this huge gridlock map of lights, it was incredible. and it was so huge. the whole city and suburbs of melbourne lit up, and the cars were little tiny dots of lights moving along the roads. i fell asleep for most of the trip, then woke up with 20 minutes of sky time, saw more city lights, landed and went home.
