it's kind of strange how most of my diary entries have been about instruments and music. it never used to be like that. but i suppose i'm trying to make music more a part of my life. not in the sense of collecting records and naming my favourite bands, but instead, turning on the radio and listening to jazz, classical music, and concertos for solo trumpet and orchestra. i am redifining my musical tastes, or at least redifining who i am and where i want to go. it feels good, doing this on my own and sharing nothing with no one.
