2004-03-05 - 1:12 p.m. it has been a while since i last wrote in here. i've started tafe (college) and ive been there three weeks now, studying business administration. although there really isn't much study involved at all; we sit in front of the computers and practise how to type up spreadsheets and documents. on another day we have a haggered and slack woman teach us ( although we practically teach ourselves from the book), how to write invoices and credit slips and other boring things like that. i am always checking the time from the wall clock or the time on the computer, counting down to lunch. we eat food from the canteen - though i've mostly been buying flavoured milk from there, or in the past a muffin or a piece of apple pie. the friends i sit with all smoke, sharing cigarettes amongst each other if one of them forgets to bring theirs or can't afford to buy any. i try not to enhale the smoke, while i eat my lunch and often think "i hope i get to see the boy who looks like rufus wainwright today." i am obsessed, yes, but he really does look like him ( and is just as cute). it's kind of strange hoping someone who you don't even know ( although we found out his name is andy) will be at lunch the same time as you. but really, and i know this sounds stupid, it makes boring classes so much easier to bear knowing that you just might be able to see rufus wainwright once lunch comes around.
